The Sting Soccer Foundation provides merit-based scholarships to support and recognize players that perform above and beyond what is asked of them in all aspects of their lives. We encourage all players who believe they match the qualities each scholarship demands to apply. These scholarships are an opportunity for players to earn recognition, build their profiles, and create relationships with their donors that we hope last beyond their time in club soccer.

Academic Excellence and Community Service Award
supported generously by Larry and Jan Coralli
This scholarship seeks high school players that have dedicated their time off the field to excelling in school and serving their community. Moreover, applicants have to submit a letter of recommendation from their school counselor or teacher. It is Larry and Jan Coralli’s wish that the recipient of this scholarship dedicates at least 25 hours of community service a year and maintains at least a 3.0 GPA.

Christian Athlete Award
supported generously by Chris and Shelley Antoniou
This scholarship is looking for any players that exhibit a steadfast spiritual commitment to Christ and his teachings. Chris and Shelley Antoniou ask applicants to reflect on how they have impacted others in a Christian manner and to describe the community service they have performed. Also, applicants need to submit letters of recommendation from their pastor or youth group leader and a counselor or teacher, while their parents need to submit a letter explaining the impact they have witnessed their child have on others.

Emerging Leaders Scholarship
supported generously by Sonny and Connie Seelhorst
This scholarship seeks high school players that serve as leaders in academic and athletic communities. Sonny and Connie Seelhorst expect their applicants to submit a letter of recommendation from their coach or teacher and write a 500 – 800 word essay over the topic “What attributes and qualities create a good leader? Give examples.” Furthermore, they require the recipient of their scholarship to maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
